Our guides

Your time in the field is led by career guides, several with more than twenty years' experience, alongside tribal expert trackers who grew up in the landscapes they know so well. Their knowledge and ability to read the country are what make exceptional encounters possible, and give us the confidence to take you well beyond the vehicle.

Bespoke, by design

There is no catalogue and no fixed departure. Every journey is designed around you — the time you have, the pace you want and the experience you're looking for. We curate the right combination of places, people and experiences, then manage every detail on the ground.

Community & conservation

The Safarini Foundation was established with the support of travellers who wanted to stay involved long after their own journey ended. It supports Indigenous communities in northern Kenya through grassroots organisations led by community members, including the Milgis Trust, the Centre for Advocacy and Gender Equity, and Empower the Northern Frontier.

How the process runs

A conversation first — who's travelling, roughly when, and what you want it to feel like. Then a written proposal with your route, your camps and the costs. We refine it with you until it's right, and once you're travelling, one of us stays reachable for the whole journey.
