A dhow under sail at sunset off the Kenyan coast

A Safarini journey

Bush & Swahili Classic

Big-game country first, then down to the coast — dhows, coral-rag alleys and Swahili cooking on a UNESCO island with no cars on it.

The classic East African shape, done properly. Enough time in the bush to stop counting species and start watching behaviour, then a change of gear entirely: an island where the streets are too narrow for vehicles, the buildings are made of coral rag, and the day is organised around the tide.
