The escarpment and dry country of Kenya's Great Rift Valley

A Safarini journey

Great Rift Valley Discovery

A sequence of remarkable ecosystems, strung along the floor and walls of the Great Rift Valley — soda lakes, escarpment, conservancy walking country and star beds above a wildlife corridor.

The Rift is the reason East Africa looks the way it does, and this journey reads it from end to end. It moves from Nairobi north through the lakes, up onto the escarpment and out into the conservancies, changing landscape roughly every two days without ever feeling rushed.
